Assembling Together

In Hebrews 10:24-25 we're told to "consider how to stir one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another....."

I've never had an answer for people who say they don't need to go to church to worship God on Sunday. That they can do that anywhere. Well, today I realized why I need to attend church on Sunday mornings and it's much more than worship. It's because I need that stirring and the encouraging that comes from being with my sisters and brothers in Christ.

Great post... Robin.
You are so right about the benefits of assembling together.
God uses our interactions with each otherto magnify His glory in our lives.
Our pastor said last night in his Bible study, that God's power is multiplied when we come together,
in ways that can not be explained.
It is like 2+2 does not equal 4,
rather 2+2 equals a much greater number with God's magnification.
Of course the enemy has observed this and will try to discourage us from coming together.
The battles rage on... but we are on the winning side.

Thank you Lord for every victory you give us.

Robin, Thank you for this post. I could not imagine trying to be a Christian without the rest of the body of Christ. It has been a great couple of years to watch people grow in their faith and watch lives being changed. We are truly in the potter's hands.
